Welcome to Loch Ness Pawz Scottish Folds nestled between the lakes region
and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The difference between Loch Ness and other catteries is that our cats from
the youngest to the oldest are a part of our family. We do not keep them apart or locked up in a room. The only
time they are in a large cage is when they are having babies, and until the babies are 4 weeks old they are in the cage.
The cage is in the middle of my dining room, so there is plenty of interaction for these little ones during their growing
process! By the time they have their eyes open they are very used to the smell and touch of human hands and come to
the cage door to peer out and get attention! Each baby has a unique personality and is treated with love and gentleness.
Every cat in our household is happy, healthy, and well fed on a diet of Royal Canin Kitten food.
We take the utmost care in our breeding practices to make sure that there are no
genetic problems with the parents before they are allowed to mate. No closely related cats are allowed to produce offspring
so we do not run the risk of having the defects such as stiff tails, fused joints, and other genetic defects. We use
both British Shorthairs and Straight folds in our breeding. Every kitty has a lineage that can be traced for generations.
The father of the first litter was a Master Grand in CFF and TICCA, and Grandpa was a three time Grand
Champion in CFF. I could go on and on with the lineage but they are well-bred little fur balls!
So, take a look around at our folds and our other family members. I will be updating the site constantly so come back and
visit again! If you have any questions feel free to email me. So with that, Welcome to Loch
Ness Pawz and our menagerie!
